- Business Unit Director
This role is concerned solely with
planning and implementing sales and
marketing
activities. In addition, the successful
candidate will also be responsible
for directing projects in order to
meet company
targets for retention, growth and
profitability.
Scope of Activities:
- Establishing sales targets, planning
to achieve targets.
- Planning and developing systems and
procedures to improve the quality
and efficiency of the Business Unit.
- Monitoring the performance against
agreed targets and allocated
budgets.
- Managing and supervising staff.
- Directing staff in the development,
analysis, and preparation
of reports.
- Reporting to the managing
director on organizational
plans and
performance.
- Representing the organization
at trade exhibitions,
events and demonstrations.
Profile of Ideal Candidate

Engineering Background.

Minimum
10 years of
related working
experience (at least
years of which
should be in
management).

Extensive
knowledge of
the country industry
structure.

Practical
knowledge of
English language,
commercial
and
contractual correspondence.

Strong
Public Relations
and communication
skills

- Handling telephone enquiries
and requests.
- Greeting and managing
visitors.
- Organizing and maintaining
diaries and making appointments.
- Dealing with incoming
email, faxes and post.
- Dealing with correspondence,
including taking dictation
and minutes.
- Carrying out background
research and presenting findings
as required by Manager.
- Organizing and attending
meetings.
- Following up tasks as
delegated by the manager.
- Liaising with clients,
suppliers and other staff.
- Devising and maintaining
office systems to deal efficiently
with paper flow.
- Organizing and storing
paperwork, documents and
computer-based information.
- Arranging travel and accommodation.
The successful candidate need to have the following skills:
- Minimum BA degree.
- Fluent in both English
and Farsi, written and
spoken – German would
also be useful but not
essential.
- Excellent skills in
Microsoft Office and
Internet.
- Highly organized with
the ability to handle
multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good references and
minimum 5 years of management
level experience.
